December 1st is the World AIDS Day to raise awareness about HIV and help people to stop the spread of HIV and AIDS. Today millions of people are living with HIV AIDS and new infections are continuously increasing every year.


According to a research and estimates 34 million people living with HIV including 3 million of children and almost 2 million people died from AIDS worldwide.


AIDS - Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome is a condition that affects the immune defense system of body. It is spread by infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Spreading awareness of HIV among the teens through basic HIV and AIDS education is necessary to prevent all forms of HIV transmission.


HIV can be transmitted by: - Sexual Infection, through blood transmission, pregnant woman to child, injecting drugs with the needles which are shared with someone who is infected.


HIV prevention programs, encouraging people to adopt safer sexual behavior, social campaigns, education and counseling are the best ways to provide information about the AIDS. These can help to keep people aware and deal with the HIV.
